The Kentucky Opera Presents The King’s Man and Danse Russe

From the Kentucky Opera Contemporary Opera webpage:

“The American Revolution is the backdrop of The King’s Man as the relationship between Benjamin Franklin and his son William Franklin is challenged as the men take different sides in defining the direction of the country. “Revolutionary” describes The Rite of Spring and its aftermath as the creators deal with the fallout from the opening night riots in Danse Russe. These two new one-acts are the works of composer Paul Moravec and librettist Terry Teachout.”
