PM: A 2013 Guggenheim Fellow

Paul Moravec has been chosen as a 2013 Guggenheim Fellow.

“In its eighty-ninth annual competition for the United States and Canada, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has awarded Fellowships to a diverse group of 175 scholars, artists, and scientists. Appointed on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise, the successful candidates were chosen from a group of almost 3,000 applicants.”

    As “usual,” BroMo, nothing you accomplish surprises me. Congratulations! Perhaps I could arrange an introduction between you and Major Jackson, one of your fellow Guggenheim honorees this year and a significant poet in Vermont? Perhaps I see a song cycle in your joint futures…?
